Overview #
WooCommerce URL Coupons plugin allows you to add a unique URL to any coupon in your e-commerce store. When your customers use it or click it, the coupon discount will automatically be applied and optionally, can add products to their shopping cart.
Enabling URL Coupons for WooCommerce #
To enable and use the URL Coupons plugins, you should first download and install Booster for WooCommerce.
1. Navigate to WordPress Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Booster > CART & CHECKOUT > URL Coupons.
The URL Coupons Module Options page will be displayed.
2. In the URL Coupons section, check the box for Enable Module field.
3. Scroll down to the end of the page and click Save changes.
The WooCommerce URL Coupons plugin will be enabled for your site.
Configuring URL Coupon Settings #
You can configure the URL coupon settings including the URL coupon key, redirect URL, and so on using this option.
1. Navigate to WordPress Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Booster > CART & CHECKOUT > URL Coupons.
The URL Coupons Generator Module Options page will be displayed.
2. In the Options section, enter/select required values for the fields. Refer to the table below for field descriptions:
| Field | Description |
| URL Coupons Key | The URL key. If you wish to change this URL key, ensure it is unique and is not used anywhere on your site. For example, by another plugin. |
| Redirect URL | URL to which the user will be redirected when they click the URL coupon. The available options are No redirect, Redirect to cart, Redirect to checkout, and Redirect to custom local URL. The default value for this field is No redirect. |
| Custom Local URL | Custom local URL to which the user will be redirected. This field is applicable only if Redirect URL is Redirect to custom local URL. |
| “Fixed product discount” Coupons | Specifies if the coupon’s products will automatically be added to the cart |
3. Click Save changes.
Note: To hide the standard coupon field on the cart page, refer to Booster Cart Customization.
The URL coupon will be configured for your site.
